Week 7- The End
I thought this was symbolic in more ways than one. Thanks to Picasa I was able to straighen it out. I enjoyed this class, your pictures, comments and everything that was learned.
Week 7- last post
This is another shot that I attempted to make life like. I used picasa, adjusted the light, contrast and saturation in my attempt to make the insect pop of the age. I purposely cropped it and left some grass to give the different textured effect. I also was crazy about the bright color of the grass after I saturated it.
Week 7- artistic view
Week One- Reposted
I noticed that my week one post had no picture. This was my introduction. My reflection touched up through Picasa so I could sharpen it and lighten the color.
Week1-Repost
I noticed the original never posted so here is the picture that was originally called, "The quiet before the storm"
Week 6- Window Shot
My co-worker again. On our way out the building. But I had to stop to capture the way the warmth and the rays of the sun embraced her face. Natural Beauty.
Week 6- window shot
My co worker was a great sport. We were walking to the elevator and the the light caught her in such a pretty way that i made her go back and try to re-create the moment. But we know nothing is better than the first time.
Macro-Week5
This shot was touched with color from Picasa but it was the closest I could get without losing the focus. I love the outdoors.

final week
the final week me and my Ava went down to the green, there are a lot of memorable landmarks things there, such as the statues the gazebo, (which isn't pictured) and the trees. It was a chilly day but we had fun.
Dominique's Final Week!
This open rose was just so beautiful and I wanted to capture the moment! I took the rose and a book and placed in my kitchen window. I just love this picture and romance feeling that it reflects!
I live by a farm and frequently have the urge to stop and take pictures, so I did! this was my favorite!
Sunset by the beach. My sister in law lives on the water in Milford and they have the most beautiful sunsets! I Love the cat tails in the sun!
Thank you for a wonderful class, I have truely enjoyed the learning experience and will probably never travel with out my camera again :) you never know what opportunites you may miss. Thank you classmates for your kind comments on my photos, best of luck to you all!
Dave's Last Entry's
The top 4 are from Mystic Aquarium that fit week 5 and 6. My favorite pic is the 2nd frog picture and the egret. My favorite photo's of the entire class are the frog and my close ups of the fire. The pictures at Harkness park are a close second. I want to thank everyone for a fun class. I enjoyed seeing all the pictures and reading the comments. Some of you should be doing it for a living. Class started off with hurricane Irene and the obstacles of having no power for a week and ended with me on 2nd shift for the last month. My favorite subjects were only available to me on the weekends. Thank You for a great class.
Dave
Last of Looking Up
So... Here is the last of if... I I have to say that I absolutely love these! Sometimes... it just comes together. I can't say enough about having my camera with me at all times. I don't think I'll ever stop bringing it around... but I do think that I'm going to need an external hard drive for all the other pics I'll be taking. Happy Fall everyone...

Last Post
I've decided to post a few more of my favorite macro photos of flowers. These were taken from my mother's arrangement that was given to her for her birthday. I am stunt with the beauty of these flowers and can't resist but to photograph and share them with you.
This class was fun and certainly has taught me to view objects in a bigger picture. It was a pleasure blogging with all of you. Best of luck and hope you enjoy taking photos as much as I do now.
I'm not sure if the last image of white flower is Jasmine, but the fragrance on this little beauty is out of this world.
